Why you need Testimonials on Facebook and how to get them

SPC Marine Marketing Gaining Testimonials on Facebook

Facebook is not dissimilar to your website. If people want to find out about you, they will take a look at your business page. When most businesses put their reviews on their website they are likely to have only used the best ones. Unless of course they are using an external reviewer such as Trip Advisor. On Facebook, you can not delete, edit or omit reviews so there is much more chance of your customers believing them.

90% of consumers state that they base their buying choices on customer reviews. It is important to harvest these reviews on Facebook and then promote them in posts to your followers.

Another reason to acquire reviews is that the star rating system used by Facebook reviews is part of their algorithm. More good reviews

gives your posts a greater chance of appearing in a persons newsfeed.

If you can not see a reviews tab on your page, it is likely that you are not set up as a local business with a map. If you are a local business take a look at your settings and ensure you have your address listed. This should initiate the review section on your page.

Now you have the review tab, you need to get people to review your products or services.

Some creative ways to get people to write a review
